Will Lucas was the strongest second grader I ever met. He had gone through so much and still was so brave. He had beaten cancer once. This year the cancer returned and it ultimately took his life. The world definitely lost one amazing kid today. A great memory will be carried by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. My prayers go out to his parents (who both taught me) and his sister (who I have known since pre k.) He will truly be missed.
